How do logic jumps work?

A. WHAT IS A LOGIC JUMP?

This is an option you can activate when you are creating a questionnaire. It enables you to make a participant skip one or several questions based on his answers.

Ex :

1/ Are you familiar with Wisembly?

YES / NO

2/ Would you like to know more about Wisembly?

YES / NO

3/ Would you recommend this solution to your colleagues?

YES / NO

If the participant answers “Yes” to the first question, you can directly send him to the third question. If he is already familiar with Wisembly, there is no point asking him if he’d like further information about it.

B. HOW TO ADD LOGIC JUMPS INTO QUESTIONNAIRES

In Prepare > Evaluations > Manage evaluations > Create > Questionnaire, create all your questions just as you normally would.

To add a logic jump, simply:

- Click on Settings (in the upper right corner of the question),

- Check the box Activate logic jumps.

Click on Choose destination to directly send the users who select this answer to a specific question within the questionnaire.

Important:
- You may use multiple logic jumps in a questionnaire, but only on single-choice questions
- You cannot use a logic jump to go to a question that has already been asked (e.g. from question 3, you cannot send a user to question 1 or 2)
